Alice Geneva Kloss (nee Glasier) began painting and producing intaglio prints in the mid-1920s, and continued through the mid-1980s, yielding a body of work which is breathtaking in its scope and significance.

A creative group of photographers, Photo Pensato, brings their unique lens back to the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center. Members come from decades of experience across the field of photography and are all now focused on fine art imagery. Their journey is embodied in “Pensato,” an Italian term for a musical note so exquisite that it can be neither played nor heard.

Their initial donation to the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center coincided with their 60th wedding anniversary in 2015, donating nearly 100 pieces. The Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center is proud to provide this collection with a permanent home.
