A cherished Pueblo holiday tradition, the "Own Your Own" Art Sale and Holiday Exhibition is celebrating its 64th anniversary.

Hosted by the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center, the annual exhibition invites both emerging and established artists to showcase and sell their work at affordable prices, making original art accessible to the community.

"It's important to support one another by shopping locally," said Karen Foglesong, Manager of Collections and Curation. "Fortunately, Pueblo is home to an incredible community of talented artists, making it easy to find unique, locally created artwork."

The "Own Your Own" Art Sale and Holiday Exhibition began at the University of Southern Colorado—now Colorado State University Pueblo (CSU Pueblo)—when Ed Sajbel founded it as a fundraiser to provide scholarships for art students. Since then, the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center has continued the tradition, transforming it into one of Pueblo's signature holiday events.

Unlike any other exhibition hosted by the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center, visitors can purchase artwork and take it home the very same day. Whether you're looking for a meaningful holiday gift or a special piece for your own collection, this exhibition offers something for everyone.
