Upcoming Field Trip Performance

Tours take place Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and last an hour and a half.
Two time slots available for the Buell Children's Museum:
- Tuesday-Thursday Mornings: 10:00AM-11:30AM
- Tuesday-Thursday Afternoons 1:00PM-2:30PM
One time slot is available for the Helen Thatcher White Galleries:
- Tuesday-Thursday Afternoons 1:00PM-2:30PM
The cost to visit the museum is $7.00 per student and includes the cost of materials for the various projects students will complete during the tour.
The Buell Children's Museum requests a ratio of 5:1 students to adults.
The Helen Thatcher White Galleries requests a ratio of 7:1 students to adults.
Teachers and school staff may attend the tour for free; however, donations for their admission are welcome.
Additional chaperones exceeding the 5:1 or 7:1 ratio respectively, will be billed at half-price adult admission. Presently that discounted rate is $5.
Please try to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of your tour time for unloading busses and welcome procedures to maximize your time in the museum. See the attached document for information on the schedule for the day.

Upon arrival, a member of our staff will board your bus to greet you. Students will then unload and be given an entry sticker. When you enter the museum, a member of our staff will escort you to the front desk to finalize payment, unless your group has selected to be invoiced after your visit. District 60 school field trips are now available, funded entirely by ESSER II funding. Book your field trip today! Field trips are available in grades K-5 in the Buell Children’s Museum and grades 6-12 in the Helen Thatcher White Galleries.
