Own Your Own 2026

Dear Artists,

We invite you to submit your work for the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center’s 2026 Own Your Own curated exhibition. This historic annual holiday sale is one of the most popular and fun in the Southern Colorado area.

Submissions will be accepted starting August 11th.There is an entry fee of $15 for all submissions. The last day for submitting handmade pieces to the “Own Your Own” exhibit is October 12th. Below are important dates, entry forms, and more info about Own Your Own!

OWN YOUR OWN IMPORTANT DATES

August 11, 2026 Entries Open.
October 12, 2026: Deadline for receipt of completed entry form, entry fee, and images
November 10, 2026: Notification to artists of results via e-mail
November 19, 2026 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday:
- First day for accepted artists to bring in artwork, fill in inventory forms, W9s and contracts
November 24, 2026 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Mondays by appointment only)
- Last day for accepted artists to bring in artwork, fill in inventory forms, W9s and contracts
December 4, 2026: Reception & First Friday (12/4), 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. Bring your friends and family!
December 1 – January 5, 2027: Exhibition dates
December 27 – January 5, 2027: Purple Friday sale, 20% off all pieces not yet sold, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
January 5, 2027 Last Day of Exhibit
January 6 – 12, 2027 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Artists pick up artwork, sign return forms. (Mondays by appointment only)
January 26, 2027 Inventory and paperwork completed. All checks will be mailed after this date.
