Plan a visit on Saturday 8/8 for Infinity Day! Come help us fill and bury our time capsule! It will be buried in our garden and dug up in 50 years! We will have art and writing projects for Pueblo children to complete that will go into our time capsule, along with activities and games with fun projects to take home! Everything is included with admission. Infinity day is the day to make an effort to do something out of the ordinary. It is the day when we remind ourselves not to be chained to routine and to try something new and/or exciting! This is an invitation to stepping out of the mundane and making the day a story you tell for years to come.

We will celebrate Infinity day at the Buell with art projects, writing projects, fun math games and take-home projects using math to create art.

Infinity Day was originally created by the Philosopher-Poet-Artist Jean-Pierre Ady Fenyo in 1988. Today, it bolsters science, math, philosophy, and art, extending to all the various dimensions of our personal and work lives. This symbol is also called a lemniscate (lem-ˈni-skət ). Named after the lemniscate curves of a similar shape studied in algebraic geometry, or "lazy eight", in the terminology of livestock branding.

The infinity symbol can represent a constant exploration of finding new pathways and breaking boundaries.
