2nd Annual Harvest Fest - Community Access Day

Saturday, September 14, 2024

Join us on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 10am-4pm for our annual Harvest Festival! Harvest Festival is one of our Community Access Days in which we celebrate the community with free museum admission, ½ price membership promotions, special arts and crafts activities, and other special events hosted throughout the day! Activities will be located in both the Buell Children's Museum and the Helen Thatcher White Art Galleries.

This year our special events and activities include:

Food Trucks
A fall-themed selfie-station
Handprint Cactus Craft
Fall Handprint Painting
Hungry Hungry Caterpillar Storytime and Craft activity at 10:30am, 12pm, and 1:30pm
Loteria (also known as Mexican Bingo) games with prizes held at 11am, 12:30pm, and 2pm
A Gallery Talk about the Taos Society of Artists at 3pm
Free museum admission to the Buell Children's Museum and Helen Thatcher White Art Galleries
½ Price Memberships All Day
D60 Families can still enroll for their Free Membership which runs through December 31, 2024

In addition to our Harvest Festival activities, there will be regularly scheduled classes going on throughout the day as well. These classes require pre-registration and we would love for you to join us. Classes being held September 14^th include:

Photography Class: "Light Up Your Subject: Mastering the Intensity of Light" at 10:00am-11:30am (register by September 9th)
Clay Class: "Imprinted Ceramic Leaf Dishes: at 1:00pm-3:00pm (3-part class: requires registration for full class which begins September 7th, register by September 4th)
Art Expression at 2:00pm-3:30pm (register in advance or walk-in; note limited to the first 20 participants, advance registration encouraged)
