Mosaic Class

Instructor: Nell Trask

Saturday, October 7, 10:00AM - 4:00PM - 1 Day Class

This class is for all levels, no experience working with glass required. Students will complete a glass mosaic artwork which is perfect for indoor display! This design will utilize a repurposed picture frame as the base for building and grouting your very own glass mosaic. Projects are intended to be finished in-class and be able to be taken home at the end of class. For students who may need extra time, a make-up grouting session will be available.

This class is suitable for adults, seniors, and teens over 16 years of age. Materials and Tools information below. N95 Mask is recommended for safety.

Due to the nature of this class, at brief periods of time students may be working with grout powders. This being the case, we ask students to bring an N-95 mask for safety. This mask will be worn while handling the grout powders and isn’t required to be worn for the whole class. The studio will have a limited number of respirators available for class use, however, if you are able to bring a personal safety mask, this would be recommended. Other than personal safety masks, all materials and tools will be provided by the Instructor, Nell Trask, or by the Arts Center.
