Welcome to our wine class, where we'll dive into the enchanting world of Veneto, a region in northeastern Italy celebrated for its diverse and iconic wines. Join me as we explore the history, key grape varieties, renowned appellations, and the unique winemaking traditions that define the wines of the Veneto region.
The Veneto region has a rich winemaking history dating back to Roman times. Nestled between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, the region's diverse terroir has contributed to a wide range of wine styles, from crisp whites to bold reds and renowned sparkling wines.
