Play traditional games and musical instruments in a colorful hacienda courtyard, discover the art of talented folk artists, learn about monarch butterflies as they grow and change, and get creative by designing and painting your own Talavera-style tile!

Step into the magical world of butterflies! See the steps of monarch butterflies grow from tiny eggs to caterpillars and then to beautiful butterflies. Learn about their incredible journey from Canada to Mexico and how important they are to the environment.
Design and Paint Talavera Tiles!
Get creative in our art corner where you can design and paint your very own Talavera-style tile! Use real artisan tools and learn the special techniques that make these tiles so unique. Your tile will be a one-of-a-kind piece of art to keep!
