Creative Writing

Instructor: Kimberly Sewell

$10 per class

This class will go through the basic elements necessary to create a compelling story (fiction or nonfiction) from setting to dialogue, tension to resolution. Writers can take these building blocks of craft to develop engaging stories! Each week we will discuss 1-2 topics for crafting a creative fiction or nonfiction story with a mix of lecture and writing prompts. Participants are encouraged to share their writing with the group and will learn how to give and receive helpful feedback. This course is suitable for experienced writers or those brand new to the page, no prior writing is necessary as we will be generating work together!
