CANCELED In this class students will be introduced to a variety of aspects of plein air painting such as seeing color and shapes in life versus copying from a photo, creating a design and a pleasing composition, seeing values and rendering them accurately, and learning how to mix colors on the palette and canvas according to principles of design and color.
Join us in learning the ancient painting technique of sumi-e; Japanese/Chinese brush painting.
Join us for a late art talk with Artist Sean O'Meallie about the exhibit "Whimsy Reimagined". Light faire and refreshments will be served 6-8pm in the White Gallery at the Helen Thatcher White Building.
