Community Access Day is a FREE DAY at the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center, for guests to roam the Buell Children's Museum along with the fine arts galleries in the Helen Thatcher White building.

The first annual One Act Play Competition will involve 8 southern Colorado high schools competing against each other for five awards. The high school students will be judged my professionals in the performing arts including directors from UCCS, Adams State University, and CSUP.
$5 for non-students to enter the theater.
Four performances will take place from 8am-12pm. After a lunch break, they will resume from 1pm-5pm. (Food trucks will be parked on campus for this event.)
You are invited to the second annual Blooms at the Buell event! Celebrate a special lady in your life by painting a flower pot in Artrageous and choosing a flower from our pop-up Flower Shop. Not only is this event celebrating the special women in our lives, but it will also be the final hurrah for our spring exhibit, “What’s the Buzz? The Life of the Honey Bee”.
We will also feature a garden talk by local beekeepers at Boley’s Bee Haven. Come Celebrate the beauty of spring at the Buell Children’s Museum!
This class will explore three great wine regions within the Loire Valley of central France. Grapes like Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir and others are widely grown in the region. What will be the selections? You will have to attend to find out!
Many consider the white wines of Italy to be lackluster or without much character. From Sicily to Campania there some amazing white wines being produced that are overshadowed by the reds. Expect to be pleasantly surprised at the flavor and quality of these white wines.

Brandon Leake, season 15 winner of America's Got Talent, will be performing his one man poetry show "Insomnia". This spoken word play walks through a college senior's late night woes: a battle with his inner demons.

Join us after hours for drinks and exclusive tour of the exhibit Gene Kloss: Printmaker of the Prairies. The talk will offer insight on the life and artistic techniques of the first female printmaker to be inducted to the National Academy of Design.
