Joseph Kronwitter

Joseph Kronwitter is a self-taught, fine craft woodworker & furniture maker in Pueblo. He has enjoyed exploring the possibilities of many types of wood over the last 50 years. Joe is passionate about creating things with his hands and to him, the creative process is just as gratifying as the finished pieces themselves. Taking an idea and giving it form is a very personal and satisfying process for him as the medium guides his way into the shape and form it wants to take. He is a longtime supporter of the Arts Center and was an artist in residence here for 20 years. Come check out his latest creation on our campus, 'The Village', located inside of The Buell Children's Museum, where kids can interact and bring their dreams of being an auto mechanic, a veterinarian, or a banker to life!
