For more than 50 years, Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center has inspired the Pueblo community through creativity, culture, and connection. Since opening in 1972, the three-building campus has become a treasured downtown destination, often called the “crown jewel” of Pueblo. The center offers a vibrant mix of art exhibits focused in the Helen Thatcher White Galleries. A variety of live performances are offered year-round in a beautiful 500-seat theater designed to provide an exceptional experience from every seat. With a long history of excellence, the School of Dance provides classes for all skill levels from beginner to professional. Educational Programs in both arts and sciences are available for children and adults. The acclaimed Buell Children’s Museum, is open 6 days a week to educate and entertain. Family fun, first dates, anniversaries, or simply seeking relaxation or inspiration the Art Center continues to bring people together through the power of creating.
