The Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center is responding with details regarding a news report relating to a recent homicide arrest in the City of Pueblo.
Andy Sanchez, CEO of the Arts Center, directed his message to the Arts Center community, the Pueblo community and the Southern Colorado region.
“We want to clarify that we are learning in real time about details involving a private security company guard on-site last week that was placed by the security company.
“In talking with local law enforcement, they are working to clarify with news outlets details that state that this individual who was arrested was not employed by the Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center.”
Sanchez added that he wanted to reassure the community that he would answer any questions to further clarify the situation.
“We will make sure to keep the public informed the best way that we can and we hope that the Southern Colorado community is able to share this messaging in relation to the current news that is breaking about the investigation of Solomon Martinez, 26.
