There's Snow Place Like Home

Explore the frozen landscape of the Arctic tundra and Antarctic ice this winter at the Buell Children’s Museum with our new exhibit There’s Snow Place Like Home. Become an Arctic scientist and learn all about the lives of four polar animals: Arctic Foxes, Harp Seals, Polar Bears, and Emperor Penguins. This exhibit focuses on the unique lives of animals who have adapted to survive in extreme polar environments. Children can discover fun facts about these creatures through a variety of hands-on activities that will support child development. For lots of winter fun, we wanted to provide plenty of opportunities for active play that the whole family can enjoy!
