Dear Artists,
We invite you to submit your work for the Sangre de Cristo Arts and Conference Center’s 2025 Own Your Own curated exhibition. This historic annual holiday sale is one of the most popular and fun in the Southern Colorado area.
Submissions will be accepted starting August 5th. The last day for submitting handmade pieces to the “Own Your Own” exhibit is October 7th. The gallery opens December 2nd and will be selling artwork through January 3rd.
OWN YOUR OWN IMPORTANT DATES
- August 5, 2025 Entries Open.
- October 7, 2025: Deadline for receipt of completed entry form, entry fee, and images
- November 10, 2025: Notification to artists of results via e-mail
- November 19, 2025 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday:
- First day for accepted artists to bring in artwork, fill in inventory forms, W9s and contracts
- November 22, 2025 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Last day for accepted artists to bring in artwork, fill in inventory forms, W9s and contracts
- November 29, 2025: Members only exhibition opening reception 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Artists and artists’ families are encouraged to attend!
- December 2, 2025: Exhibition opening 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. followed by First Friday (12/5), 4 p.m.- 6 p.m.
- November 29 – January 3, 2025: Exhibition dates
- December 27 – January 3, 2025: Purple Friday sale, 20% off all pieces not yet sold, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- January 3, 2025 Last Day of Exhibit
- January 6 – 10, 2025 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Artists pick up artwork, sign return forms.
- January 26, 2025 Inventory and paperwork completed. All checks will be mailed after this date.
Outside these dates and hours, an appointment is required. NO DROP-INS PLEASE!
