In October of 1968, movie-goers were thrilled and disturbed by George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead. Fifty-five years later and movie is still regarded as a horror masterpiece and the “patient zero” of the modern zombie. Join us on Friday, October 27th to witness this cinematic classic as it was meant to be view- on the big screen. Doors open at 6:30, enjoy our cash bar and mobile horror trivia before a crash course in Hollywood and horror at 6:30. Film will start at 7:00 p.m. followed by an intermission and an analysis of the film and Romero’s use of horror as social commentary.
Costumes encouraged, but no costume masks, large bags, or prop weapons will be allowed in the building. This movie is unrated by MPAA but has a +13 advisory on Amazon Prime. Parental discretion is advised.
