Nasisse states, “The work in this exhibition was inspired by many things, including the landscape of the west, early native American pottery and surface design, Egyptian canopic jars, Islamic architecture, burial vessels of all kinds, mountain forms like circques, and sacred geometric designs of all kinds, especially mandala patterns.
