Welcome to Watercolor! Participants will have the opportunity to explore and continue to develop their skills for making expressive paintings. This will be an exciting workshop since we will be working with abstract color concepts to create exciting paintings. We will be using both traditional and nontraditional techniques while we explore light and the transparent effects of watercolor. Students will learn to see how these experimental techniques can be used to create the depth, dimension and excitement through bold color. Examples from other artists will help students understand how they employed various techniques to achieve expressive, lively qualities in their paintings. Watercolor is an exciting medium and we are inviting you to come and experiment!
