Deadhand
Conceited
Jan. 10th, 2025 to June 27th, 2026 | Regional Gallery
Known as “Deadhand,” Shannon Palmer is a Pueblo, Colorado-based artist excelling in murals, visual art, and fashion design. She describes her style as “punk-surrealism.” Currently, Deadhand is working on creating
large-scale murals on Pueblo’s Arkansas River Levee, contributing to the muralists' efforts to reclaim the title of having the world’s longest mural. When not painting above the river, she collaborates with Colorado galleries and fashion houses to create and showcase her work. The majority of Deadhand's work outside of murals is focused on fine art paintings and gallery installations. With 8 solo shows under her belt since the start of her career in 2021, Deadhand recently had the honor of creating and displaying her first runway collection. Her
artistic vision aims to explore surreal themes, using vibrant colors while seamlessly incorporating goth and punk imagery into high art and fashion.
