Things to know:

By purchasing a ticket to our museum you agree to the following visitation policies developed in compliance with guidelines and requirements related to COVID-19:

  • If you are feeling ill, or running a fever of 100.4 or higher, please stay home. 
  • All guests over the age of three must wear a face covering during their visit.
  • Be aware that capacity limits apply to galleries and activity stations and there may be a short wait to enter. 
  • Buildings now have 1-way traffic where possible. Please look for entrance/exit signage above doorways.

"Mystery at the Museum" is open in the Buell Children's Museum with social distancing measures in place. Based on some play area restrictions, this exhibit is best for ages 5+.

Can I visit the Gift Shop?

The Three Peaks Boutque Gift Shop is open  Wednesday -Saturday 9am - 5pm.

Do members have to reserve a time to visit the museum?

That is no longer necessary! Please call us at (719)295-7200 if you have any questions

What if I cannot wear a mask due to health reasons?

A face covering of some kind is required for all guests.  If a mask is not an option, you may use a face shield.  If a covering is not possible, please wait for restrictions to be lifted before you visit. 

What about large events?

Will there be closed areas?

The Helen T. White Building will have the following areas closed:

  •    Some restrooms
  •    Some classrooms
  •    South Elevator



The Buell Children's Museum will have the following areas closed:

  •    Kid Rock Cafe
  •    Upstairs restrooms
  •    Sensations Tunnel
  •    Magic Carpet Theater (except for special classes / activities)

 

What safety measures are in place?

The Arts Center is operated in accordance with guidelines established by the Pueblo County Health Department and the City and County of Pueblo. We ask that you observe all signage and instructions provided at the Center and we reserve the right to ask anyone not following safety measures to leave the premises. 

Will you have a performing arts season?

The 2020-2021 performing arts series will be a new format and is expected to start September 2021.

Will you have Festival Fridays?

We are hopeful to celebrate with you in the summer of 2021!

Will you participate in First Friday Art Walks?

Yes, we will be open free to the public the first Friday of every month from 4pm-7pm.
