MUSEUM DOCENT:

If you are familiar with the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center and are interested in donating some of your valuable time to the institution, please consider joining the Arts Center's Docent Program.

Share your passion for art with children and adults alike! Spend time leading groups of adults, students, and families through the Arts Center. Docents give introductions, facilitate discussions, and share information about the various art on display. Museum docents learn a variety of techniques that encourage the growth of their audiences. Docents are introduced to creative and unique ways to share the information about each exhibit. Regular training sessions occur as exhibits change—our next session will be on Tuesday, January 22nd at 11:00 am after the Arts Associates meeting.

To sign up for the Docent Program, please contact Kathy Berg at 719-295-7200 x7208 or kathy@sdc-arts.org.
