As the focal point for the arts in southern Colorado, the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center offers a wide range of educational opportunities in visual arts, dance, theatre and music.

Education Classes
Education is an integral part of the Arts Center’s mission, and our three building complex provides a variety of studio and classroom spaces. Over 100 arts and leisure classes are offered per quarter for adults and children. These classes span from single day workshops to several weeks of learning in a vast range of topics and skills. The Arts Center also offers a variety of courses for educators. A copy of our current class schedule can be accessed online, or to propose teaching a class, please contact our Curator of Education at (719) 295-7210.
School of Dance
Our School of Dance offers instruction in 36 different levels and styles of dance, and boasts two resident dance companies—the Sangre de Cristo Ballet Theatre and the Sangre de Cristo Dancerz.
