Calling all child actors! Be a theater star under the guidance of professional actors from the Missoula Children’s Theatre.
Auditions for children kindergarten through grades 12 will be held on Monday, July 28 in the Jackson Conference Center ballroom at 10:00a.m. Rehearsals end at 2:30p.m.
Rehearsals: Every day in the theater from 10:00a.m.-2:30p.m.
30 minutes lunch break included. Bring lunch or money for Fazolis.
Performance is at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, August 2

Afternoon Workshops (After Rehearsals)
Creative Dramatics with Missoula Children's Theater
July 29 from 3:00-4:00p.m.
Young students can use their imaginations to transform a story into a play, learning the importance of focus, the development of character, and the use of pantomime.

The Actors Tools with Missoula Children's Theater
July 30 from 3:00-4:00p.m.
The basic tools of the actor's trade—observation, memorization, concentration and imagination—are all parts of this hands-on workshop where students participate in a variety of fun exercises, learnign to apply the actors tools to performing and everyday life.

Introduction to Mime with Missoula Children's Theater
July 31 from 3:00-4:00p.m.
Through a series of fun and enlightening exercises, students are introduced to the art of acting without words, from simple body language to the techniques of creating illusions.
