The Sangre de Cristo Arts & Conference Center is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator for our highly creative, not-for-profit organization located in Pueblo, CO. The Arts Center is home to an AAA-accredited art museum, award-winning children’s museum, dance programs, conference center, theater and multiple education programs for all ages. The Marketing Coordinator will manage the day-to-day functions of the marketing department, including promotional and public relations efforts. A minimum of two years in a multi-faceted marketing role is required.
Work as a team member with department directors to develop best possible representation and alignment of Arts Center’s goals and objectives for meeting its mission;
Manage promotional materials and in-house creative and inventory;
Coordinate media placement and ensure deadlines for deliverables are met;
Work with graphic designers to develop effective marketing collaterals;
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with partners in the community to maximize marketing and communication efforts;
Monitor budget and analyze cost effectiveness of efforts;
Represent the Arts Center as a media spokesperson as needed;
Attend staff meetings and represent the Arts Center at community events as appropriate.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role;
Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques, including experience in social media and web development;
Knowledge of publishing terminology, graphic standards, layout and design;
Solid writing skills, including web content and press releases; samples will be requested;
Excellent communication skills;
Highly organized, with effective time management skills and ability to juggle shifting priorities; experience working under deadlines
Working knowledge of Adobe Suite and Microsoft Word;
Budget management, cost analysis skills desirable;
Photography experience desirable.
This is an exempt position with benefits, included medical/dental coverage and vacation. Salary is dependent upon experience.
