July 10 - Makeshift Funk Band made its Festival Fridays debut this Winter to rave reviews and a hopping dancefloor. The seven piece horn band from Denver specializes in funk, R&B and dance. Enjoy popular hits like “Hold On, I’m Coming” and “Into the Mystic” as the Makeshift Funk Band brings your favorites to the stage.
July 17 - Thumpin has become one of the most popular bands on the Denver music scene, drawing enthusiastic crowds and amassing a loyal following who love what this band does: provides its audiences with music that moves the body and soul. Enjoy this fun arrangement of funk, soul, and R&B with songs from The Temptations and Al Green to Bruno Mars and Prince as Thumpin’ performs on the Festival Fridays stage once again.
July 24 - Bad Habitz pays tribute the Pueblo’s roots as the award-winning band brings Tejano music to the Arts Center. Named 2012 Best Tejano Band in Colorado, Bad Habitz knows what it takes to get Pueblo on the dance floor.
July 31 - The Martini Shot performs the pop hits that earned their titles of “Best Cover Band” and the “Best Original and Cover Band” by readers of the Colorado Springs Independent, and “Pueblo’s Best Local Band” twice by the Pueblo Business Journal. Be mesmerized as the six-piece Pop-Rock Pueblo shows you why they are continuously named the best.
August 7 - That Eighties Band brings its high energy show and proves why it’s one of the most popular 80’s tribute bands in America. Named “Top cover band in Denver” by CBS Denver, the group has performed for Google, Disney, Pepsi, The Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, and now takes the Festival Fridays stage at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center.
