Call for Entries
The Buell Children's Museum is celebrating it's 10th birthday this summer and invites you to contribute artwork to the celebration!
CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS!
We are featuring a fun building exhibit in connection with the Royal Gorge Bridge, celebrating its 80th year. Guests will choose from a variety of building materials to create their own constructions. We will also display The Bridges of Southern Colorado Counties. We are calling on area photographers to snap shots of the new 4th Street Bridge, River Walk Bridge, and other bridges in your area of Southern Colorado only you may know exist.
What to Submit
We hope you will donate an 8” x 10” photo (color or black and white) that we can show this summer in our Plexi-glass frames on the 1st floor of the Buell Children’s Museum.
Please submit before May 10, Tuesday - Saturdays, 11a.m. - 4p.m. at the BUELL CHILDREN’S MUSEUM, 210 North Santa Fe, Pueblo, CO 81003.

CALLING ALL FIBER ARTISTS!
We are celebrating our 10th Birthday beginning June 10, 2010. Showing will be “Jellyfish Jubilee”, an interactive virtual world. Guests can swim with the jellyfish in PlayMotion! Visitors will enter a mysterious underwater world to interact with and manipulate jellyfish with just the touch of a hand, accurately modeled with their effortless, enchanting motion…. fear not, PlayMotion jellies don't sting! Young guests will open their eyes wide as they enter the Buell Museum because area fiber artists will have created amazing jelly fish! Who knew string could be such a wonderful thing? Kids will also get inspired to make their own undersea wonder to take home.
What to Submit
We hope you will donate a fiber art piece we can show this summer in our shadow box display area at the entrance to the museum. Use yarn, thread, string, material, plastic and other sparkly stuff to make your jellyfish. Guests will be able to look, but not touch, so feel free to include beads, baubles and assorted bric-a-brac. We have four spaces for small jellyfish up to 20 inches tall and one large space for jumbo jellies up to 80 inches in length.
